I'm so grateful for music.
I'm grateful to be able to travel and share such deeply personal songs all over the world. It's crazy how consuming the west is. Like, it'll chew you up and spit you out if you let it. Being an artist is a crazy job. It's exciting and depressing all at the same time. I wouldn't change for it anything. Even when it gets hard. I'm grateful. I'm looking forward to being back out here in South Africa. My family and I are ready to disconnect from the west. Build some healthy boundaries and get back to the land. Thank you all for a great two years. I'm really grateful to be able to share my music with all of you, even if it's challenging sometimes. The challenges is what reminds me that people are listening. |
