Millions of people were forced to leave their homelands because *surprise* they and their families didn’t feel safe living in a war zone. Consequently, tens of thousands of people drowned in the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas because folks were denied safe passage over land and it was basically the locals and volunteers job to clean up the mess.
This song is my affirmation to “let it go” and “let it be” re: the anger + grief that was endured in the aftermath of that experience. Idk if any of my friends (who were out there with me) had a similar experience, but if so, I want to dedicate this one to you.
Thank to everyone who has supported me on this journey. “Let It Go, Let It Be” is now available on all streaming sites.
We’re now a third of the way through this year-long record release. If you’d like to see (and hear) the rest of the album, please buy a ticket to my Movie Premiere at the Amelia Musical Playhouse on Jan. 18th.
