I was invited to participate in a panel discussion about church + state so I want to invite my friends and community to join us on Wed. Aug. 7th at the Peck Center Auditorium (Fernandina Beach, FL). 6-8pm.
I’m going to focus on the historical and contemporary relationship between Indigenous Peoples and the church + state, in an effort to help us better understand the implications that Christian Nationalism has on a body politic.
I would like to invite concurring and dissenting opinions to this community discussion. I believe that difficult conversations are likely necessary conversations. There will be plenty of time for audience Q&A as well.
