Love y'all!

I'm really excited about the upcoming year. Big thanks to North Florida Recordings for recording the audio, and thank you to Ryan Teston for holding the camera for me. I'm going to release these songs as singles, but that will come at a later time. Stay tuned.
Love y'all!

Happy Indigenous Peoples Heritage Month
9 years ago today - Standing Rock Hundreds of Tribal Nations flew their flags in solidarity with the Oceti Sakowin. My Tribal Nation sent a full Delegation so you can imagine how proud I was when I saw the Lenape flag flying in the sky. My Tribal Nation signed the very first Treaty that America ever signed - the Treaty of Fort Pitt. Over time, the Lenape signed 15 Treaties with the American People, and each one is ratified by the US Senate and recognized as "the Supreme Law of the Land." (Article 6, Section 2, US Constitution). Treaties don't lose that status just because time passes. The same Constitution that protects the 1A, 2A, etc. also protects "All Treaties" today. If "honor thy word" is a core Christian teaching, and if the US Constitution defines "All Treaties" "the Supreme Law of the Land" and if Soldiers are defending/protecting those words today, then shouldn't honoring constitutionally Protected Treaties be both a biblical value and a Constitutional duty? I'm inviting anyone who cares about faith, law, or integrity to sit with that. Not to feel guilty, but to get curious. Not to get defensive, but to get honest. I'm not asking you to agree with me - just to think with me. Truth gets stronger when more people see it. Wanishi, BE |
